![]() ![]() Problem Solved, it was the CDrom drive, at the end, boot was slowing down, anything requiring cd was slowing down. I am not sure if I tried dual booting at one time on this HD. My question is how come I can install Vector linux and Red Hat, but Not Debian, or windows xp ,on this maxtor HD? Also on another HD with same computer Debian is installed successfully. Moreover, I tried the boot option "Live (amd64)" on a different laptop and the OS started without any problem.
